Hey man, I’m set on doing the same shock setup, but at 2.5” not 1.9, and using the same exact tires and size. The rims I want have a +25 offset, 18x9.

Shimming the bumper forward isn’t something I’ve heard. What’s up with that? Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks.

Hey Bud, my wheels are +18, so they stick out a little further than yours, so at full lock, there is some contact with the front plastics. I could "massage" the plastics, but, I'd much rather shim the bumper to achieve the clearance.

All I have done is remove the small front mud flap. No trimming or chopping.

I'm seriously considering going from my 20's, to 18x9 +25 offset method double standards. My truck is a 17 SR5 2wd, no level, or lift kit. With those methods and offset, can I run 275/65/18's without any rubbing anywhere?

The 275/65/18 is the stock size, so you should be good to go.

I’d go up a few sizes if it were me, 285/65R18 is gonna look small on a 3/1.5. I have 295/70R18’s on 18x9 FN BFD’s with a +12 offset with almost no rubbing.

Hey fellas.... I just installed some 18x9 +30 offset xd hoss with 275/70/18 cooper ATPs and I had to remove both mudflaps from the front.

I'm still getting some rubbing at full lock I'm guessing from the front line or bumper. I thought for sure I would clear no issues with that set up.

I'm stock height at the moment but will be adding some 5100s up front on. Middle setting with shims .

Do you think I will not rub after a slight level up front?

I bought new ones since I ordered a complete package online and just wanted my wheels ready to slap on when they arrived.

Also that way in the future if I ever sell I can just put the old wheels back on with stock sensors and just reprogram them and. Not have to worry about swapping them around.

2018 Platinum, stock suspension, Method 306 20x9 18/5.75, Nitto G2 285/55R20. I just put the wheels and tires on to see what it will look like, rubs the front mud flap just a bit at full lock and very minor rubbing on the front air guide. I plan to level the truck with some 5160s, but I'm currently having some serious TSS problems so I'm not doing anything as of now.

Same thing happened to mine when I ran 18x9 Method MB +25 wheels with 275/70/18 BFG AT/KO2s on stock suspension but only in reverse. The rubbing went away as the tread wore down over time.

Figure I'd throw my setup in here if it helps anyone!

    2016 SR5 on Icon 3.0s w/ their tubular UCAs.

Stage 3 RXT in the rear. Did the 1/2/3 leafs. Coulda gone 1/2/4 or 1/2/3/4 but stuck with most OEM+ application.

    18x9 Method 310 Con6s. ET of 18. 35x12.5 BFG ATs.

    Cheers!

Will have to do a cab/body mount chop for sure for clearance behind the wheel and also either trim or heat gun and push in the plastic wheel well lining to get clearance in front of the wheel. I'm planning on taking some pics today so I'll post on my build page when I'm done.
