Could be because of the models? GMC has more AWD in the line up.

What I'm saying is that GMC has more AWD under their name like the Denali packages. Transaxle systems and whatever else might be luxury items that possibly Chevy doesn't offer.

Hummm i dont see Denali, AWD or anything listed do you? Brand has nothing to do with what your saying.

This is a snap shot of the WHOLE BRAND.

GMC has more expensive models that offer more "luxury" than what Chevy does. All these model repair cost add up more than Chevy does possibly. These models fall under the brand.

    DUDE READ.. MY GOD.

    GMC 7,800 over ten year

Chevy 8,800 over a ten year period.

GMC COST LESS by 1,100 bucks how is it more?

haha. I didn't see that the cost. I was mainly going off that they're different, my bad. I'm still hurting from the weekend and not at 100% clarity while under meds.

Gmc and chevy are the same. Gmc just puts a few extra BS on the car/trucks so it looks like they are top above chevy..

    example.
    http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/.../Pages/news/us/en/2015/dec/1210-ft-wayne.html

The production milestone came during a $1.2 billion investment at the facility, where full-size Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks are built.

same truck, always has, always will be.

Same thing as the same manufacturer but GMC offers an AWD truck and suv's. Chevy has sport cars.

Just like my tacoma. its made by GM/toyota.. tho the gm parts have failed over time. the parts where not that badly made.

I'm a fan of the 7.0 Z06 but I don't think I'll own another truck made by GM. I had no issues with my last but I only kept it until 33k or so.

Alot of the GM engines today are trash and some cars/trucks are lemons,. cheap parts, bad designs and not really thinking before you made it deal. china and india parts now in the the line. Working on some are a PITA.

Tundra has more oil, bigger tires, bigger brakes. Just guessing. :notsure:
