Reporting back after a few days of driving: The Fox 2.0 ifps have made a noticeable improvement on and off road, but not drastic, I’m ordering the Deaver mini-pack to replace to the overload leaf, the jackhammer effect is still present on the fwy but not as bad as original shocks

A little late for this thread because I did it 2 days ago... but I used the Loncky leather steering wheel wrap and I’m so glad I did it. Feels like a totally different interior.

Katzkins, waiting for heater kit before fronts. Hands are sore lol, needed a break anyway. I can see why pro install costs so much, took me 4h just for the back seats.
Install is basically reversal of removal including where hog ties were, didn't need to read any instructions except vid below. I also kept the cloth on the headrests, the foam is glued to the cloth, I think it's the only areas that you don't remove upholstery because the leather seemed loose the first one I did without cloth.

    Tools I used
    - bought hog ties/pliers from Amazon (cheaper than the kit they sell) basically big staples that crimp into 10c size rings, if you don't use them, the seat seams will float
    - needle nose pliers
    - socket set (there's also a couple of areas with Torx screws)
    - sharp scissors to cut holes for the headrests, it's tucked underneath the plastic frame, OEM clean
    - plastic trim tools I already had to poke stuff through/under parts
    - steamer for wrinkles

Watch some vids on technique, moulding the foam and pulling strategically.

Install let me completely clean the foam underneath too. Wow, it's comfortable back there! Family did the euphoria expression when seat testing.

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it. I think I wanna go with the 2.0 resi fox's for the rear. I didn't think the jackhammer effect will ever go away. What is ifps?

I want those too lol, ifp is just fox’s “internal floating piston” design. It just sounds cooler when you type that in rather than just fox 2.0’s lol. I’ll find out if it goes away... I don’t think any vehicle can ride smooth up the 10 into Santa Monica, but if I can get cozy on the 60 through riverside/San Bernardino I’ll be happy

I've been curious about this. Does it stay connected wirelessly with a case on the phone with this setup?

    What phone/case/charger do you have?

That's not bad at all. Pretty easy to swap? I've watched videos of it, looks simple enough.

About 20 minutes. Didn't even need a steering wheel puller. Was able to just wiggle it loose.

It stays connect but I don’t use a case. I put my wife’s phone on it with an otter box and it would not charge.
