Dang I’m not sure I’ll like that either. Might be quickly donated to my wife’s car.

We have 2 iOttie One Touches, both over 2y old now, not a single issue and really like them. One even transferred from a sold vehicle to my Tundra and still sticking. I've decided I don't want anything on my dash, and just in case it discolors it too. I ordered their vent mount version, should be getting it within a week.

(same location as the Scoche mount above but I can't use magnets with iPhone X)

But what about when you wanna watch porn and don’t want your wife to know? Can you angle it away from her?

    Very clever, by the way!

Not sure about you guys but if I'm having a go at it in the truck, I want my passengers to know why. God forbid they think I'm some kind of weirdo, whacking off to traffic.

I have the Scosche magnetic mount. It's ok, but any hard bump will knock the phone right off.

Has anyone used this mount? I like the relatively-low profile compared to some of the other ones.

    https://www.proclipusa.com/product/854957-proclip-center-mount

Edit: I'm obviously too lazy to even read the thread....

How do you like the ProClip? Does it leave a gap in the seam after it's installed?

This is ugly (dont care) but if the phone ever falls out of this bracket, its because it was hit with a sledgehammer. Its bolted to the dash. If I ever want to totaly remove the mount the dash piece is cheap.

I did a RAM mount on my dash, just above the air vent that is left of teh radio. I used double sided tape (industrial) and 2 screws to affix it in place--because it'll be there as long as i have the truck. Works perfect! (Came off of my old motorcycle).

Trying to decide which route to go.

Which Mob Armor cradle mount fits iPhone X, small or large (I didn't see the X listed on the capability list)? Kinda wish they had a wireless charging version.

Has anyone had issues with the Scosche mount (specifically the plate you put on the phone/case) messing with wireless charging? Has anyone tried the Scosche wireless charging version of their magic mount?

Both versions adhere to the dash with adhesive, correct?

Does the phone sit high enough to allow the phone to video record like a dash cam?
Disregard. Looks good to go from your pic.

Agreed on the Magic Mount or Magic Mount Pro. I have two Pro's mounted on my dash, one on each side. Holds my iPad on the passenger side for road trips and my phone perfectly!

I have the iOttie Easy One Touch 4. I like it a lot. I have it mounted so that the top of my phone isn’t too high.

The iottie one touch is great, I used one for years in my tacoma mounted to a ram ball. I had to mill down a ram ball adapter to get it to fit the back of the one touch (mine was the CD slot mount, had a 15mm or so ball mount). In the tundra I use the Hondo vent ring with an added o-ring (2.75 ID x1/16”), ram ball ram arm, etc.
