Which are the best
Stock shocks at 70k
I am looking at icon 3.0 up front ant the RXT 2.5 rear

I need something better to go with than the color
I live in Utah and blue doesn't represent my personality so if I have to order the Kings I'm going to need a pretty strong persuasion

 

You can't go wrong with any of them.
I got to experience the Icons and loved them, so I will be going with those when the time comes.

 

Might want to consider the new Old Man Emu BP-51's........

you're going to find a huge array of opinions on here so, color is probably the easiest decision.

i've had both icons and kings. to me, the icons always felt as though they were more biased towards being on pavement. i had the icons on my FJ and, to be honest, i definitely did not go down the setup rabbit hole as far as i am now.

kings are on the tundra and i have been very happy with how they handle. currently in the process of making a mid-travel upgrade and getting more into the tuning.

in the end, as was mentioned, you can't go wrong with any. all are top quality and will serve you well.

 

I agree..and the Kings are very close to Dodger Blue! haha

The Icon set up is amazing.

 

He’s right, King will plate your shocks almost any color you want.

I may be biased though...

 

oh. 3.0s up front. nice. i'm keeping my 2.5s and adding secondaries but putting 3.0s in the rear.

 

I'm not an Icon fan (their UCAs are straight up WRONG) but as @smslavin said, you really can't go wrong with any of 'em.

I run Fox up front on my first gen, hopefully they are better engineered on the 2nd/3rd gen trucks.

For first gen they never bothered bolting them up on a truck, let alone do any research and development. I would go Icon if I could start over, just because I don't like blue.

 

Yeah buddy. Eventually, I’m adding a secondary bypass up front. Waiting on my 3.0 3-tube bypass in the back with the Camburg kit. Will hopefully be buttah over the chop.

 

Sounds like I need to ditch my kings now. Hmmm

the 3.0 triples just showed up here the other day. what camburg kit? the shock relocation kit? if so, the way i understand it, that isn't necessary.
