Hello, I'm looking for options for my 2018 limited grill. Not a big fan of the stock grill. I was told my front emblem has cruise control sensors so do I need to keep it? I havent seen much outside the honeycomb design. Im looking for a black grill option without the visible rivets or the word Toyota across the front that I've seen on Google. Really any "badass" looking options would work. lol thanks

There are none at this time. Some people hacked a pro grill to have it work but its not something you can go just buy and use.

I like the black. Too bad there aren't many options out there for the limited grill.

It sounds like the 2019 TRD pro grille will be an option, but will not be available until late summer.

I want a black grill. This Trex supposedly fits a 2018. But I dont know if it fits a limited. is there a difference between sr5, trd pro, and limited?Screenshot_20180328-215107.jpg

From my knowledge no difference between models. All the same. Check out cool springs Toyota in the vendors section.

Yes, I do. However, I'm wanting a honeycomb grill to replace it with. Not looking to spend the money right now on a new grill because apparently, you have to buy the surround and grill as a single unit, a little too much for me to spend right now.

I'm convinced there are no good options until the 19 pro grill is released

In regards to the 2019 TRD grill, I’m not a fan of how they just placed the TSS sensor on the front and painted over it. They could of at least tried a different approach of concealing it. But hey, that’s what this forum is for.

Once you have the black surround color matched, the limited grill may look just fine, I’ve been looking for a pic of a black tundra with black surround and limited grill. I would like the sport grill on mine unless the trd grill beats it.

HID retrofit headlights from Lightwerkz, Morimoto LED fog lamps from Lightwerkz. JL audio upgrade from Tech12Volts, Powdercoated factory black wheels local, ESP rear storage trays under seat, bed cover by BakFlip, bed liner, console safe, LED light bar by Back Country. Weathertech floor liners and ventshades. TRD rear sway bar. TRD Pro exhaust, TRD Skid plate, Fortin EvoOne Remote start from Anderson Electronics.
These sensors are getting high-tech. If you crack and have to replace a windshield on most newer model vehicles be prepared to wait and pay. There are sensors in the glass on many vehicles that have to be calibrated perfectly to work with driving aids.

That will tack on an extra 500 bucks or so.

    Technology ahe..?

The 2018 TRD Sport grill has all the sensors, is all black, and looks pretty great. I'd probably change mine out for the TRD Pro grill if it were an option, but as-is, I'm pretty happy with it.

    Bone stock.
I like the TRDPRO grille. Very difficult to beat IMO. NFAB or dbcustomzfab are 2 great places to start.

Does anyone know if the 2018 SR5 Grille insert fits in the 2017 TRD Pro Grille?

Yes. I just put a 2018 SR5 honeycomb grill insert into a 2017 TRD Pro Grill Surround. I did this because I wanted the cement color surround.

New Tundra owner here. That being said, are you guys who are keeping the Limited insert swapping out the surrounds or buying the whole works? I know from what I’ve read sometimes the clips can get broken and are tough to deal with.

Hoolagan definitely has the right idea. The mismatched chrome and color matching really bugged me on my 2018 limited. I am almost done with mine and will post next week. I am swapping in a honeycomb grill with cement surround and color matched bumper ends. I like center of the grill I have but like the less chrome look of the honeycomb.
