haha! That's a pretty long list! But I'll definitely be hitting you guys up for trip planning

I can't promise anything because I've never been out there. But from the sat images it just looks like easy desert two track. I wouldn't worry about it. If we come across something you don't feel comfortable with, we'll stop and talk about it. Most guys are surprised at the stuff I've spotted them over, but I'm never opposed to turning around either and I'll never pressure you into something

Also, Jimmy first gen has little tires and tiny lift. So if he can do it most 2nd gen can do it

Lol. No, I WANT technical stuff. I don’t want to go all the way there if it’s just flat desert.

Wish I could make this trip. One day I will finally get to meet and wheel with you. My first off-road trip with my truck was in that area. There are some technical trails if you are willing to head towards The Red Rock Canyon area. We drove through the little town of Randsburg then wheeled Last Chance Canyon and ended up in Ridgecrest. The following day we hit the Pinacles of Trona but it was way to windy to camp there.

Ok... I'm not sure if the Mrs has plans for us that weekend, but put me down as Tentative. When were you planning on meeting up on Friday? After work? If I can go, I could probably make it up to RidgeCrest around 6-7pm.

haha! Its definitely not flat desert. The whole place is hilly. We can always find technical stuff ;)

Yeah we'll meet fri night. I'll be in the area in the afternoon scouting a campsite. Just let me know when to expect you and I can send you a pin or find a meet spot

Ok, this time for sure we're one week out!

I have a few things that I have to finish up this weekend, rear diff fluid, sand/paint the fender, and pack The Truck. But its not as bad as Jimmy's list LOL He still has to figure out why his front diff is wobbling and finish welding his new bumper

Matt, Jeff: are you guys cool with doing SGU style meals? We usually have one truck make a meal (dinner or bfast) for the entire group, one time. That way you can relax the rest of the trip and not have to worry about cooking. BYO lunches and drinks. If so we'll start planning; let me know how many in your truck so we can get a head count. If not, thats totally cool too. We can all do our own thing. I'm just throwing it out there.

Also, post up your arrival time so I can coordinate meet spots. I'll be leaving Moreno Valley at 10am so I should be in the area around noon.

Oh one more thing, bring some spare fuel. At least 5 ga. I'm not planning routes on this trip so distance between fuel stops is unknown. I'll do some e-scouting this weekend and pin the fuel locations and possible camp sites. Also, bring as much firewood as you can, there wont be any wood in the area except in my pants. BOOM *drops mic*
