Apologies if this has already been posted but for those who may not have seen it, there is a fairly new video on Youtube detailing the Tundra build. Pretty impressive setup overall.

I thought that the dual battery setup was interesting and I recall a fairly lengthy thread on here a while back where several posters mentioned looking for good dual battery setups without much success.

The custom dual battery setup starts at about 6:40 in the video. Very slick; it sits on top of a modified windshield washer fluid tank. I wonder how long it will be before someone starts making them available commercially.

I'll would have to go back and check their other videos, but I'm pretty sure that they swapped them for a custom pack after their first time out with all the weight.

All it would’ve taken was a little research on Tundras.com to tell em that wouldn’t work...they’d likely be a prime candidate for 3” SOA springs. Can’t remember whether they ran the RXT’s with all leaves in the pack or not?

In the other thread about this I took a screenshot when they were assembling the pack and counted the leafs. It had to of been stage 3.

All the cool kids chop their exhaust. That or buy the really nice dumped turndowns from Dirty Deeds.
I on the other hand still need to get off my ass and cut mine before Saturday.

Damn! Sounds like they’re gonna have to get creative then, maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t like the idea of sticking bags on a vehicle like that.

Damn you used a dremel? On my last truck I had a shop do it while they were installing my suspension. I was going to use my sawzall this time.

Dremel might be a better idea for me. Less chance of me accidentally cutting the entire truck in half.

Any idea what the total investment is to come up with that thing? I'd wager it's more than my first house, by a long shot.
