What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

Yeah I had a good time checking out all the classic vehicles and the Toyotas and seeing old and new faces. Then they went out for food and booze but I can't afford to go out these days so I left before that.

 

Today i walked one of the dogs, and i got him to sit down for a little photoshoot. Only got a couple before he moved lol

 

I added an adjustable willwood proportioning valve so I can adjust rear brake bias from in the cab.

 

Those are aircraft mechanics. They will do stuff just to mess with people.

 

Added a sweet decal to the tailgate

 

Looks like I'm missing the front C rings. Anywhere o can buy a set of 2?

What remote start did you go with. And how difficult was the install?
Seems like a feature that could be useful

 

Anybody know that the little exhaust component between the y pipe and muffler is? It looks like a mini muffler

 

Resonator possibly?

 

That's what I was thinking.

I got a free flowmaster super 44 muffler from a local TW member today and I'm wondering if I should keep or remove this mystery box, that may be a resonator, when I have the exhaust shop cut out the old muffler.

$70 Avital 4105L 1-Way Remote Start System with 4-Button Remote

Avital 4105L. Install was so-so. Finding the wires is the most difficult. After reading a few different post about wiring diagrams.

 

Weather has turned to shit so instead of freezing my ass off and possibly taking all weekend, I decided to have the shop install my 5100s. $272 labour for the shocks and about $165 for the alignment. I'll work OT sat/sun in a warm fab shop and have the shocks paid for by end of day sat. Lol. No brainer there.

 

If this works it will be revolutionary. I'm hoping to find out this weekend, all depends on my if brother in law has a baby or not this week. That could ruin any chance of spending time on my truck lol.

 

I have a flow 40 and cut the resonator off mine and I’m glad I did, really nice raspy sound, but not loud enough to make the neighbors mad.

 

Replaced my rack and pinion, ball joints, valve cover gasket and did a new suspension set up. Threw on some Rancho 9000rs front and rear. Makes mine sit up higher than the 08!

 

What size light bar is that? Dope freakin truck..

Ordered some stuff...
Shorty antenna, amber foglight LEDs, backup camera, 2 7" LED lights for back up lights, and a 30" spot/flood combo light bar to hide behind the grill

 

Did you have to modify the wilco tiregate to fit? Or did you just change some things to your liking?

 

Gathered supplies yesterday for transfer case, front and rear differential fluid changes. Been PB blasting the drain and fill plugs for a few days in prepatory fashion based on the research I’ve read.

This front diff has me worried as its pretty fit tight up near the fill plug.

Called stealership and talked with gruffy man service guy and he said to reuse the washers on the plugs. No need to buy new and they are special order anyway (3 days lead time).

Might tackle this today or maybe not.
