I feel ya there with the married life. Well, engaged life. "Do you really need $200 tires?" "Why do you need a supercharger?" They'll never understand.

Lol! We were engaged for a couple years when I had the taco...it only gets "better" from there. I have resorted to trying (key words trying) to sell the Mods to the wife as it is for the greater good of the family and household. I was an Econ major so it works a little lol

Grilled up some pork tenderloin earlier for Father's Day. Wife and daughter made it a great day for me, figured I'd make a great dinner for them. One for dinner, one for lunch tomorrow.image.jpg

I bought myself a Weber Smokey Mountain (smoker) about a month ago. It was a little intimidating at first as there are way more steps involved than with a regular BBQ.

Now that I have some smokes under my belt, I feel a little more at ease with it.

Today (Father's Day) I smoked 5 racks of St Louis ribs for the family, including the in-laws.
Everyone raved so I guess it was a success.

At one point I was out front with the dog and the neighbor asked me if that amazing smell was coming from my backyard. That's reward enough right there.

It took 6 hours to smoke these ribs, but I have to admit, they were amazing.

I've been admiring and staring at the smokers any time I pass the grill section somewhere. One day, I will get one
