In the on going discussions about tire sizes and what will fit, and under what conditions, thought I’d add my experience with the OME BP51 front and rear setup with Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 295/70/18. With just about a 3” lift up front, and with a 1” ToyTec block in rear, I’m sitting level. I didn’t go with the OME Dakar leaf pack as I didn’t want any rake.

Discount Tire installed the tires yesterday and were patient as I checked clearances lock to lock upfront before I committed to all 4. I wasn’t interested in a lot of trimming and mods in the wheel wells. Luckily in my case, the larger 295s fit without issue. I only had to remove the front, small mudflap, plus no UCA rub, and no rear mudflap mods were needed. I bent the skid plate prior to install and that wasn’t a problem, either.

I’ve attached some pics for reference. I’m very happy with the ride and look of the 295s on the OEM wheels. I have no TSS issues or warnings. I hope this helps with your tire size/suspension decisions.

Hey like thebeast said, a full view of your truck with the new rubbers. Could you do a before and after? I'm on the fence (still) with either new rims and tires or just 295/70 like you have. Sick truck man!

Thus far I think I'm hooked on the 295/70. I love my rims just have sissy radial tires

    Awesome!

Can you report back after you take it offroad and flex the suspension? I’d imagine that is where you are going to run into issues if you will have any. Hopefully not, but a little trimming won’t kill ya

I really appreciate you sharing this! I want the exact same setup and the suspension board is slightly confusing.

Me too, thanks! Took a bit of doing as the OME setup with the leaf pack retains some rake. Think I found the perfect solution in the rear with a 1” block.

Love your set-up. If I were looking to get new suspension, this would be my first choice without hesitation.
