Has anyone tried this? I’m just wondering if the emblem can be vinyled over without messing up the sensor. Also anyone have issues with the TSS after installing a light bar mount that sticks out a bit from the bumper? My plan is to do the hidden winch mount with a N-Fab light bar mount(T1430OR). It does protrude out a bit and the light bar itself seems it would block the signal or whatever comes out of the emblem. Any info would be great.
    Thanks.

A lot of us have issues without even messing with it.

Yea I have read about the issues. Just didn’t know if some hadn’t already tried.

It isn't Vinyl.... Just a sticker.
But it had NO effect on the TSS

Awesome!! I like that. I was thinking vinyl or sticker that looks really good.

Anything you do to the emblem will affect the readings. The system will work but distances will be affected, an inch, a foot, impossible to say. The emblem itself is what’s called a radome(fancy word for radar shield), but they are very specific shapes, materials, and surface ra(finish). These can also be multilayer designs to accommodate different conditions. The Pro “garnish” is a multilayer radome, not sure about the regular emblem, they may achieve the desired results due to the shape. The forward system uses radar in either 77 millimeter wave length, or 79, more than likely 77 due to the age of the technology. They both don’t do well with plastic, but are necessary to have these systems. The pedestrian part of our system is what you should think about, the camera almost surely identifies pedestrians, but the radar would do any distance calculation. Inch or foot off ok in this situation?

Nice. I turn off all nannies as well and you are correct, if it messes up peel it off.
