Lol they function much better ON the truck.. but I DO NOT trust myself with mounting them lol. But not sure how much I trust anyone else here lol.. sooo... I'll just look at em.. I set a goal to have her done by T2S so as long as shes good to go by then.. I've got my arb compressor too but I had myself so pissed off that I completely unmounted it after I couldn't get it to work... #mrNOvoltage

Been awhile since I posted on here. Been busy AF lol, a few updates...

Ordered the RCI tank and transfer skids as part of the Labor day sale. Got the tank skid on still need to get the other on

Ordered some covers for my front and rear BD pods and got a few xtras! Thanks @Baja Designs !!

Oh yeah... Got some bigger tires! Went with the Toyo M/Ts 315/70r18. They are almost a 36".

Compared to the Coopers so far they are waaaaaay quieter. I'm sure being a new tire has some to do with it but it def feels softer too. Just to compare a brand new Cooper (35x12.5) is on the left, brand new Toyo on the right. Both mounted on the same wheel.

In this pic the Toyo is on the left
    [IMG]

    And just some fun pics

Damn son! You still running the same wheels? If so, how’s that +12 offset work with a 315?

Yep lol. The only reason why I still have them is because of the offset. This seems to be the sweet spot with these tires. Anything less I think I would have to cut more of the cab mount

Damn, I may have rethink my thoughts on changing wheels if I go up a size someday. I figured +12 18x9’s would make anything bigger than a 295/70 rub like crazy.

Yeah everyone's setup is different. To be honest I had doubts these would clear. I actually ordered one tire first and cycled it through the front suspension on both sides to make sure it cleared everything. It's close but good for the most part. @Erichudgins actually had to swap his wheels out for a larger offset on his.

Yeah, hopefully I’ll be able to fit true 35’s when this set wears out. It’s nuts how one guy can fit x size and the next guy can’t.

Yeah the setup, uppers, alignment, etc all come into play. Most 35s aren't true 35s which is why I've always gone with the weird sizes like 305 & 315. Honestly it's not the height that will cause issues, it's the width of the tire.
