    Just dropped $630 on the Cement hood bulge and and the SR Grille. Another $125 to have the surround painted once it comes in. I'm glad that you commented to help me because I went back in and switched from the Sport to the SR grille.

    Thanks again

    I originally done it twice, bought a used SR5 grill, liked it, but then I seen a new SR truck at my local dealership. Seen it had a black insert, so then I bought the SR grill.

    On a side note, you do realize that your Toyota emblem will not work in the honey comb grill? You'll need the land cruiser emblem, direct replacement.

    No, I did not realize that. Dang, the dealer said I wouldn't need anything else. My 2018 emblem will not work? I thought you only needed the emblem if you had a 2017 and were adding the 2018 Grille. Why would the 2018 Grille emblem not match the factory 2018 emblem?

    Ok, I seen below your user name, that you have a 2017, didn't realize you had a 2018. You're good to go.

    One last thing, could I have kept my TRD Pro Grille from my 2017 and had the surround re-painted and then just switch the factory insert? I am wondering if that would have been the smartest move?

    Also, would you have a suggestion for me to sell my factory Chrome bulge and grille? I have a 2017 and 2018 SR5.

    Thanks

    You could have kept the pro grill, but the is some modifications needed to get it to work with your safety sensors. I still have my chrome SR5 grill and the SR5 honey comb grill. Hard to sale because shipping is ridiculous. I've got them posted on local Craigslist. No luck selling them yet.

    Well I was thinking if I used the factory insert and only used the TRD surround it would eliminate any needed modification with the sensor. I would have just switched the entire insert. I could have put the chrome one back on my old truck before I traded it in. Too late now anyway....ugh.

    Thanks again!

    That black insert is going look really good against the cement.

    I hope so!! Did you remove the insert yourself to switch them out? If so, was that a big deal? I am trying to determine If I should remove the insert and just take the surround to the body shop because I bet they will just tape over the insert if I do not.

    @Roman

    Two questions...

    1) Can a 2017 color matched hood bulge and surround fit on a 2018 for purposes of replacing chrome? I understand the insert will not because of TSS...
    2) Is the 2019 TRD pro grill compatible with a 2018 equipped with TSS?

    I see there is an all black TRD Pro shifter offered on Amazon by some Toyota dealers. Same Part #, but -02 at the end. Do you carry it and if so how much? I'd rather order from you since I have done so before. Thx.
