    Hello!

    New to the forum and as a Tundra owner! Man, these trucks are nice!

    I have a 2015 Platinum and love that I already have LED DRL. What I would like to do is get the HR LED blinker switchback bulbs.....

    ....and somehow connect my existing stock LED DRL to the blinker bulb so that it is always on and when I activate the blinker it'll turn Amber because of the switchback.

    I know that the spyder lights have this look.

    What wires would I be looking to connect for this mod idea?

    To activate the Amber you have to add a jumper between the side markers violet wire and the empty wire location in your turn signal socket

    But doing this the switchbacks only work with the parking lights ON

    Yes this work, I suggested this before to a few guys and the mod worked, I also have a second method but is more sophisticated, soldering a few rectifiers inline to the DRL Hi/Lo wires is a better option

    You can create a jumper in Y a single wire going to turn signal socket and at the other side a wire to orange and the other wire to red in the DRL wiring

    To do this you need to solder 2 diodes to avoid current flow going backwards to the LED DRL wires

    Sorry for the poor drawing but let me be honest I hate drawing not good at all doing this :rofl:

    If you go with the second option it will work seamlessly with the DRL and you don’t have to turn on parking lights like if you go with option 1

    With the 3A diode, does it matter how many volts itsi listed for?

    3A and 40-60 volts should be fine


    Current flow is less than 1A in this wiring
