I can’t believe I am saying this because I always have been thinking that the 2019 PRO grill looked a ton better.....BUT after looking at these two pics, there is no comparison! The older version PRO grill looks a lot better imo....

I thought there was a rectangular hole at the bottom center of the grill for the TSS unless you buy the sensor to cover it. That was the big issue, unless I’ve been out and something has changed. It looks really good but the only thing help me back was the high price for that piece on the 19 Grill. What was the solution there? Looks great BTW.

Tough call. They both look good, but I like the bottom one more b'c it looks a little meaner.

I have both of them(new one on the truck now) and older style in storage with the other grilles. I used the blank space as a spot to mount a forward facing camera. I like the new one but it looks kind of flimsy and shows off more of the bits behind it.

Tough call, I really wanted to like the new grille more then the last but I’m not sure. I will have to wait until I see one in person. You’re truck looks sweet either way!

I like the new one only because I know it’s updated, otherwise if you asked me which one cold, I’d say the old looks better, more rugged.

I’m also grappling with this decision. Would have been a done deal if it were not the need to fill the TSS bracket and the honeycomb ran cleanly right across the lower portion. I don’t think Ares is even making the fake covers anymore, is he?

Which camera did you use, is it wired to the OEM screen? Did you make the filler bracket yourself?

Boyo VTK380HD camera mounted into a piece of Plexiglas wrapped in 3M satin black vinyl. I have it wired to a Kenwood head unit that already had a video input for forward camera so the hardest part was running the cables through the firewall.

I like the 2019. Maybe you could get @ARES to make you a TSS cover for cheap since he doesn't have to make it opaque for the sensor?

I like both of them. But yea, if it didnt have the TSS feature so prominent the 19 would have a slight edge

Even with out it I don't like it. No reason really. I just think the other is more aesthetic appealing. But to each their own.

No worries buddy. I really wanted to pick your faux cover, but I just couldnt justify paying half of the price of the grille for it. You did a great job tho. I ended up just purchasing a piece of gloss black ABS and cut the appropriate dimensions. Probably going to place a subdued flag in there that is invisible in the day. If your product ever drops in price I may doubleback.

I ended up just purchasing a piece of Gloss black ABS and cutting it down to size. It measures about 2.75" x 7". I then just added a matte black distressed flag so it didn't look so empty. I like it.
