Took the grille guard off. I’m having a hell of a time getting these bottom brackets off. I need to replace the front wheel mud flaps anyone have experience buying these. upload_2018-9-2_17-42-32.jpg

Good job! It looks a thousand times better without that hideous grille guard/damage multiplier hanging off the front end. Your front springs n shocks just thanked you.

That’s one sick bumper, if I only I can get ahold of a 1st gen DC someday! Saw something similar on a 2nd gen DC on CBI’s site as well.

Broke the tailgate handle. Since I have a heavy drawer system up against the tailgate on the inside, I'm not really sure what to do about this... ideas? More details here.

Also tried a DIY awning. Need to work out a few kinks...

While sitting on top of ancient ruins in Machupicchu, wondered if my new yellow box came in the mail and thought about what's my next mod.

Update, looked over my emails and found a message from yellow box saying they shipped my recalibration kit, it should be waiting when I get home. Looking forward to installing that on Sunday.

Installed some 3rd gen taco trd or take offs.

    20180908_114217.jpg

Also some LED markers last week and yellow fogs. I also did the 3rd brake and bed lights, reverse lights and door lights but no pix of those. Unfortunately superbrightleds.com told me the wrong sizes for the map.and done lights. The festoon they sent for the dome was way too long and they said the map lights were 194s but they were festoon and different from the dome for some reason. So i sent em back. Anybody know the right sizes?

Unboxed my new Bilstein 5100's today. Got the clips moved up to the 4th position, the spring plate mounted and the boots zip tied. All ready to install next weekend. Figured I'd minimized the dicking around on the actual install day by having things ready.

Also grabbed some SAE and metric 1/2" drive impact sockets.

I want to know more details on that.

Spent a few hours in El Salvador today and learned that a popular mod here is to put 05/06 Tundra taillights on mid 80's beds.

It’s meant for a 1979 f350 4x4 dually and was a major pain to install.
