I’m thinking about getting this one:6BF96511-F695-4E00-8DDD-22F485F7DEF1.jpg
Been planning to get one for a while. Wondering if anyone has experience with em, and what they think

You're in the Pacific Northwest now...don't like the weather wait 15 minutes it'll change lol.

No experience with those. Only thing I have had experience with is the digital thermometer you stick outside and the base station inside that gives house and outside temps.

We always had one growing up, long time ago so no tech. It was a novelty, but the news weather seemed more localized and talked about barometric pressure etc., weather now just is what it is on the news. I think it is a great idea, I’m gonna get one so my kids can understand how it works, Thanks!

Many of the weather apps have homeowners that provide real time data from their stations like you pictured. I know of a few right around my home within a mile or two.

Otherwise, the ‘official’ Weather Service Observation is only 5 miles from me which is fed through my app.

Beware some of these devices are sensitive and don’t last very long.

I’ve been trying to think of a joke that has some sexual innuendo to respond to this but it’s not really flowing... so illustrated in the pictures and obvious...

That is absolutely not true in this case

The display is brilliant and clear.
I should have our station registered on Wunderground tomorrow.

looks great, the problem I have is I keep our weather station in an entertainment cabinet so it's only about 8" off the floor. When you look down at it, you can barely see the numbers. When you are sitting on the couch it's better.
Does yours not suffer from this?

I've had an older version of this one for 2-3 years now. It was a gift or else I would have bought one like yours that I can connect to wifi and connect to Wunderground. The lack of wifi aside - mine has one MAJOR design flaw where it will only show the last 24hrs of rainfall (resets at midnight). So if you get rain through the night and you check in the morning to see how much it was it only shows the total since midnight. VERY annoying for a farmer/gardener/weather dude like me.

When this one fails I plan to purchase the exact one you bought. So please let me know what you think after using it for a while.
