ADS shock mount finish?

    Lost track after #1.
    Both of these are supposed to be black zinc plated. One is smooth, shiny and slick to the touch. The other is dull, rough and grabs when I touch it. Thinking that one of them didn't make it thru the plating process all the way. The black one is an even black across the entire part. The other one is multi-colored. Can anyone confirm?

    Yeah, it was MCM and that's what I thought as well. Matthew is going to send me a new set when he sends the UCA and such. I'm assuming someone from ADS was just packing stuff up and wasn't paying attention to what they were doing (probably on a Friday afternoon lol). I emailed them as well.

    I hear ya - it is definitely a chunk of change. I'm glad I did it, but yeah, it's always tough to swallow spending that much on an upgrade lol. Are you going to ultimately get the rear set?
