I just bought my 2008 tundra that has Toyota factory remote start.. But the truck locks when it cranks and when you open the door with the key or unlock with the fob it cuts off.. Anyway to fix this ?

Standard for Toyota. Not a fan of that, but it's what they do.

All Toyota and Lexus have this. I'm guessing so someone doesn't drive off with your truck.

that's a bulls**t answer.every other remote starts stays on. if brake pedal is touched then veh turns off if vehicle is put into gear then veh turns off.why cant Toyota figure this out

^^This. I have Viper alarm and it only cuts off if the brake petal is pressed if the key is not inserted. Lock and unlock work while remote start is activated.

Now that's common sense. A lot better than turning off with the door open.
