XM but not SIRIUS XM in Pro?

Possible complaint....but maybe user error.

Was pretty happy when SiriusXM started playing the Billy Graham channel on #145. (Sometimes you just need some good old fashioned bible-based preaching.)

Anyway, they moved it to "Sirius 460." My 2017 Pro, without JBL, doesn't go that high. So, I called..."Sir" (said 'Michael' who likely didn't really use that name outside work) "you don't have Sirius in your truck, just XM." Huh? Apparently the Tundra is only XM??? Later I did notice it only says "XM" on the head unit. Thought it was the same company.

Sorry, am I missing something? Is it available some other way to hear Sirius through this stock system?

Oh, by the way, you can always get a 6-month promotional trial of (apparently XM only) for $30 dollars. Just mark the calendar and call a few days before it expires, sign up again, and do it all over. JUST DON'T forget...or they ding you for the full price.

 

I had the same discussion (argument?) with them about the Punk channel. I canceled and told them to call me when they move the channel.

 

Hmmm......maybe combine the channels....

 

That would be a tough sell for me. I realize that due to the merger they have two sets of satellites and they don't want to just write off one of them, so they continue to sell Sirius radios and XM radios, but it is stupid to have different programming on them.

 

I have gotten multiple stories from them. Whoever you talk to will just make up their own reason for it.

 

I know my money goes to SIRIUS XM and I pretty much have everything I want. I just pink the packages I want.
