which spray paint you guys recommend ? touch up metal parts so they don't rust. Mostly undercarriage.
kinda like the spray they use to paint over CMC plates after welding them.

Rust-Oleum gets my vote @TheBeast . I sprayed my toolbox, and plan on using their high heat paint to spray my exhaust.

I have used both. Both are pretty tough and last, at least for my projects.
I used rustoleum on two undercarriages, a 99 Disco 2 and my 2010 Tacoma boys now.

On bare metal you want to start with self etching primer. Any of the brands listed above make them.

On areas where rust is already present start with Por-15. This stuff is strong.

to test how strong, just forget to wipe clean the rim of the paint tin and then try to remove the lid a month later....

make sure you have a spare tin handy.... the original one will get destroyed.

    Ask me how i know....

Here's one to look at @TheBeast. Just picked up @Lowe's. Just finished my toolbox and great spray coverage. Put 2 coats on plus sprayed my rod holders. $7 a can. Little pricey, but worth it.

I always use Eastwood products for any chassis parts, they have paints specifically for this use.

Even if there isn't rust, I like POR-15. Just get some of their metal prep stuff. I have had really good luck with POR-15 for chassis components.
