Does anyone know how the badges on a 2016 tundra are installed? Are they pinned to the doors or attached with 3m tape.

And how do you get them off? I'm worried about messing up the paint by taking them off.

    Thanks in advance.

They're attached with double sided tape. Use a hair dryer and a heavy fishing line to remove. Use the fishing line like a saw as u go behind the badge to remove.

Awesome!! Thanks!! I started plasti dipping them earlier today.....am having h**L getting it out of some of the lettering...toothpicks keep breaking too easily....looks like they may be easier to take off and dip then re-install.

I have seen nox-lux was really contemplating on using that kit and due to my lack of patience and probably should have.... also looking at their interior kit but I need to do a lift and wheels/tires first.

You are right about that!! I also looked at how easy it is to remove the badges... Movie makes that look easy too, until you have to get the residue glue off......

I haven't done mine yet but don't go cheap on the toothpicks, go to an asian store or market and get "bamboo" toothpicks very strong and you'll never go back to cheap ones.

    Good luck...
