Pikes Peak had it's first snow since the end of spring that I saw on Sunday morning. Looked like it was probably above 12-13k feet. Quite beautiful, but, I'm not ready for the change of the season...

Its 70° down here but there has been rain up there off and on since yesterday. I'm at 6000ish ft here. Up there its 14100 ft. To be expected this time of year, I guess.

Personally, not at all. Just drive as the conditions dictate. Snow isn't the problem, it's the ice underneath. The only times I broke traction or slid was because of ice. Slow and a light foot goes a long way. My opinion at least.

Edit to add, I do carry a set of snow cables for my rear tire to go over some of the passes that require it.

I saw snow on Pike's coming back Monday. It snowed on Mt Blanca Sunday afternoon when I was at Great Sand Dunes Nat Park. Farmers Almanac said this winter will be a doozy. FA is pretty much spot on.

Damnit, I'm headed out to your place! This 90+ degrees and humid is killing me!!

Anyone need a quick-learning Ag Science major for a ranching operation? I grew up ranching/farming. I come with my own vehicles, dog, and horse. (dog doesn't know squat about ranching and is a princess)
