Shithead buys radar detector, shithead asks to return radar detector for refund claiming it wasn't used, shithead then replaces radar detector with glass jar and sends back to seller, who doesn't check it out, then re-sells it to our OP here.

This sort of thing is known to happen on Amazon with high-dollar rifle scopes. I've heard of people buying a $3k Schmidt and Bender, then returning it for a refund after putting a $100 tasco in the box. Amazon fulfillment either doesn't check, or doesn't know what they're looking at and re-sells it to somebody else. Then they bill the seller for the refund. Total BS and everyone except Amazon/Ebay and the asshole who stole the original item gets screwed.

 

I have found ebay to be 100% fair and a great place to buy and sell for nearly 15 years now with almost 800 transactions.. A couple of problems were quickly resolved.

 

No don't do that! You could put a nice cash scented candle in it that reminds you of this when you burn it!

 

Spray some Liquid Ass and ship it back.

 

I just received a wrong shipment today. Ordered foam polishing pads, I ordered 6.5" and received 5.5" I just sent a message, we'll see where it goes

I’ve been an eBay seller/buyer for 18 years, only one time I had an issue with something I bought, got my money back thru eBay. Like most people here I buy my stuff at Amazon, it’s cheaper and faster with prime.

File a complain with eBay and you will get your money back.

 

For those of you in college or have kids in college the Amazon book rental program is awesome. Have saved thousands in books over the years for myself, wife and now kid going through college.

Yep, did this in college. Amazon for books and rented or bought whichever was cheaper (I got a book for less than $5 before on Amazon lol). That was my first use case for Amazon...then I realized I never opened, let alone read, the books and still was making A’s so I stopped wasting money renting or buying them.

Can't you get the money back or just give it back to you? I have often recently heard about similar cases of poor-quality work of such services. For the most part, this is because there is a pandemic all over the world now, and a lot of people order different goods with delivery, which loads delivery companies very much. But I think this is not an excuse to do my job so poorly. Now I order goods using the China post package tracking service since I can constantly track where my parcel is located. In general, I wish you no more to face similar problems, good luck to everyone who reads
