Why 20" rims? Just curious. If you do any semi serious off roading, I wouldn't go over 18".

That makes sense. (The 20" rim thing). Value of your truck shouldn't keep you from off roading. That's why they make Prius's. My buddy in Anchorage paid 64K for his GMC Denali and uses it for a daily work truck. Construction work. Most of AK is off road.

I paid 25K for my 07 Tundra. Probably have another 7K in add ons and I actually use it. I can't ever understand someone buying the best truck made and be afraid to use it.

    X2

I've got a buddy who's a pipeliner and his work truck is a Denali dually. I have a few customers out here in Burlington that drive Platinum Super Duties as their farm trucks lol. A nice truck shouldn't keep you from taking it off the pavement.

Around $70,000 or so. But the guy makes $200,000 a year and has no kids, no wife, no house, no boat, no expensive camper, etc. It also makes it pretty easy when you can write that truck off as a business expense.

For what it's worth, Wild Peaks are OK, especially if you aren't going to do much off roading. They Look good.

Spend $100K+ on a piece of farm equipment, but don't use it because it's expensive......:homer::homer::homer:...heh......heh...

That's cool. Won't be cheap converting your Taco to 4WD but certainly doable. Contact Yota Yard here in Denver for pointers if you are serious about upgrading your Taco: http://yotayard.com/

I'm running 35-12.50-20 nitto mud grappler, I want a quieter tire that can run in packed sand. I don't run the mud at all. Any ideas?

I say toyo open country AT2's. Better in mud than the KO's and on tundras, I've seen them last up to 65k miles. Best bang for your buck IMO
