Here’s a picture of the actual slab that’s inbound
Then a pic of s polished sample
I will have a chance to look it over in person before it’s all finale. But this one is marked as mine at the moment.

Replacing the kitchen counter tops and master bath vanity with granite

Job has a completion date of no later than 10/05. If there are no major problems along the way.

I will update with before and after pics
    Stay tuned

Seems to be pretty popular...my granite guy and I looked at several options and with the tile I have going in next week and my cabints which I am not doing anything to this time around, it seemed like the best color option

I debated the single or double sink. Absolutely love my single bowl sink!! I think you will as well. Can’t wait to see how it turns out for you! Did my bathrooms as well but purchased the square white porcelain sink and also love those as well. Debated for a while between the oval or square. But glad I chose the square.

I chose the round bowl for the master bath vanity, I have a second bath that will be remodeled at a later time.

Yours looks great, I was torn between the single bowl or 60/40 for the kitchen, decided on single, looking at your pics I think I made the correct choice.

Nice granite. As for sinks, you have the right idea with the undermount, looks sleek, no caulk joint that collects dirt/gets funky over time. Personally I have a very deep/wide double bowl sink at my house. One side is where you wash dishes, the other side has a drying rack, keeps the clutter down in your kitchen if you have the drying rack on the counter like I used to with a single bowl sink.

I toss everything into my dishwasher and walk away LOL...every so often I have to wash a large pot or pan or rinse off a large cut of meat while prepping for the smoker..

    The slab has landed.
Installer called and said come look it over. It does. It match the sample at all. It’s a lot lighter more white
I took a pice of floor tile with me
I like it. I gave the ok.

Granite pieces are cut. Doing polishing and edging then waiting for sinks. Install is 09/28

So they got all the kitchen tops out of the slab I paid for. The master vanity top is coming off another slab. There’s a big difference in colors between the two slabs but that’s ok I think the darker will work better in the bath.

There will be one seam in the kitchen top. It’s in the middle of the sink. I am surprised they did not seam the large L shape for the kitchen bar.

    First the vanity top
    Then the kitchen tops
Then the contrasting piece for the window sill above the sink.
