In. Been doing some research and it seems like I can't simply install these from the front since a blue clip has been added to the Fogs in the 17+ models. 20180831_203602.jpg

Even coming in from the fender isnt all that tough. Front would be easier though. Wasn't an option for me

Just installed mine. Install was pretty easy, but the quality of the stock housing is disappointing.

It fits like shit and shakes all over the place. I'm really surprised that's the best Toyota could do.

I used cable ties to pull the housing tighter to the bumper to stop the shake.

Had I know how shitty the stock housing is, I would have spent more and got fogs that totally replace it.

Yeah that stock housing is brutal. I used zip ties too. If I had the cash I'd replace the whole unit too but that's a long way down the road for me

It's still light out here, I kinda can't wait to see how they look.

There's a steel housing behind the light assembly. I wrapped the ties around part of the light, then around the housing to pull it tighter to the bumper.

It worked good, but it's pathetic that we even have to do that.

My Morimotos only lasted about 3 years on my tacoma . I purchased 9/14 and they burned up 12/17. The pot metal oxidized and since the gortex breather is adhesived to the powder coat, once the powdercoat flakes they are toast.

Ok..so I just looked at how I'm going to install this, From the front that is, I just pushed the brown hold down pin from the front using a long flat head and rerouted it, and I see now what you mean by using the zip ties..thanks for the tip..

I was only able to take a quick cruise, but they seem pretty good. The real test is getting them out in the country, in some weather.

I haven't had any weather yet to test mine out. The 2018 headlights are so bright I actually barely notice the fogs at all. Other than how wide the project, which I like that feature

F2030CEB-A94F-4A5D-BC43-025EC6B21CF7.jpgMorimotos. Very nice and clean but I want a bit brighter so looking at the Rigids down the line, but as of now these are great.

The cut-off line is clean on the XB's, but they don't throw light very far. I ended up switching to the morimoto HID's in stock housing. The HID's have more scatter, but improved my visibility of people on sidewalks in winding neighborhoods and animals in low ditches.
