Hey everyone, you guys have probably talk about this before but I was looking online into getting any of these upgrades to boost mileage and save some money on gas.
    • Bed cover
    • air intake
    • Exhaust
    • Ignition and electronics
    • Tuners and programmers
Are there any tips or suggestion you guys can give me on this topic?
or any suggested Upgrade that will help?

:fingerscrossed::help: EDIT: Im not complaining just wondering what I can do to improve it.

Not much you can do. Make sure the air filter is clean and keep your foot out of it. Also pump the tires up more than the door jam states.

Call who makes tires and ask that you should fill them too. Cooper suggested mine to be cold fill 45 psi. Helped a very little but did help.

Get some low rolling resistance tires and air them up. They are kind of wimpy in the elements, but if you do mostly dry highway driving, they might be what you are looking for.

If you do take this route, do not max the tires out... Yes, your mileage will be great (relatively), but the tires will not last.

14 mpg doesn't sound terrible for a Tundra, honestly.

I've only had mine for a couple of months, but I seem to get my best mpg when I get up to my desired speed as quickly as I can without exceeding about 2100-2200 rpm at the shift points.

For example. If I want to go 45 mph, I accelerate quickly to that speed and then feather the gas to maintain it.

If I baby it during acceleration, it takes longer to get to my shift points causing it to rev higher for longer periods of time consuming more gas.

Not much help for the congested stop and go but might help a little when there is less traffic.

I went from about 15.4 mpg to about 16.8 mpg. Still not great when compared to a Prius but damn good for a truck with this kind of power and capability.
