The tranny pan bolts are described in in/lb in the Chiltons manual too ;) I was tired/drunk/take your pic when I read them and saw ft/lbs and ignored the inches LOL

Did my first mod. Installed some yellow bulbs in the fogs. Man it helped my 5am commute! Got some leds coming soon for the running lights, reverse and license plate. Wheels and tires next weekend. Will post pics eventually.

I need to finally update my scan gauge to read my new trucks trans temp. I filled up the other day and adjusted the amount I filled and now my avg mpg is way too high to be real lol.

Well the leds came in today. Now I'm just waiting on wheels and tires. What's the best way to change the driver side running light? Lots of stuff in the way. I was thinking about pulling the battery

Nah I pulled the coolant reservoir. Way easier than battery.

I'd have just removed the entire assembly, there's only one quick push/screw thingy holding it in place.....phillips head screwdriver and good bump with your palm and it comes right out to get to the bulbs....be careful with hyperflash, you may need resistors if you notice the blinker blinking extra fast...there is also a special flasher module thats available for LED conversions.

Yeah I'd do the flasher relay over resistors like I did in my taco. Much easier. But I didn't replace any signals with LEDs so it should be fine.

I noticed this morning that the lights of my climate controls etc appear to be out. Yay...gotta source LEDs for that now (easy enough) then figure out how to swap them (harder...i'm leery of pulling shit apart).

I was going to do the 5100 install this week but nnnnooooooo, i have to work because the company i work for is run by jackasses who think they own their employees. Mid sept will be when i finally get around to that project.

Don't trouble yourself. It's like 5 screws and the whole panel comes off. 2 in the vents and 1 behind each climate knob. From my experience you want at least a 30 lumen bulb or it won't be bright enough.

Good to know! Any idea where to source bulbs? SuperBrightLED doesnt seem to have them for the vent controls.
