I actually have read that thread. It does not mention SR model anywhere that’s why I was trying to clarify which harness would I purchase to go along with oem led headlights. But I assume the basic wiring is same with all models. I do have amber drls on stock headlights. Thanks.

ETA on TRD Pro headlights is varied. I've got some coming in this week, with the latest of them currently showing 9/11. Of course, Toyota has already changed the dates on me a few times.

No such thing as OEM fender flares. You may be referring to the Bushwackers that SET and GST dealers add to the Tundra at the port. I do not know if those come pre painted. I'm in a different region, so I can not get those parts.

Are the seals 100% necessary when replacing the front bumper ends? Can the ones on there now not be reused?

@ Roman if I buy the 2018 TRD Sport Grille in black and have the surround painted in Cement will the insert come in gray or black? I have seen some inserts that are black (which I prefer) and some in grey? Thanks

Check out this post I made earlier in the thread:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-oem-toyota-parts-thread.10707/page-21#post-482697

The two options for grilles are the Platinum and the TRD Sport. To me, they look identical. In certain light, they could appear gray, but I believe that is just reflection. They look black in person. Maybe a dark charcoal, if I'm splitting hairs. :)

You are right, in the pictures you linked both the Platinum and the Sport are grey. I wish we could get them insert in black like pictured above. Maybe I can get the insert painted in black? I will check with my local BS.

The only way to get a black insert is to get the SR grill, the one you have shown on the white truck. I originally got a Sr5 honey comb grill, it is grayish, then I bought the SR grill because it is black. Also, the surround is paintable, where as chrome, not so much.

OK Got it, so I need to buy the SR Grille. So the grey is just as easy to paint as the black?

Yes, get a SR grill. The insert is black and the surround is gray and will be better for your local body shop to paint to match your truck.

OK this is exactly what I needed to see. I am at my local Toyota dealer now and he is telling me the SR Grille is made cheaper and is more flimsy? I said, that's odd because it costs more. Any thoughts?

Also, will my local body shop need to remove the insert to paint the surround or do they just tape over the insert? Thanks a lot for answering all of my questions.

The surround maybe just a little, but you have to think that the chrome plating stiffens it up some.

They will probably separate the 2, that would be the professional way to do it.
