You guys always give me perfect info so here goes again. My son likes to bring his electric kids car to ride when we go camping, it is a pain in the ass to carry and takes up valuable space in the bed. I have a Bakflip bed cover which can hold 300 pounds, the car weighs probably 50. I want to put it on top of the bed cover with some rail mounted tie downs. What ones fit well? I know 90% of the aftermatket stuff fits horribly and is absolute crap. Your opinion would be greatly apreciated.

What tie downs for the bed rails actually look decent, fit well and are functional?

Bull rings are outstanding. Didn't think I would use them very often, until I installed them. Now it seems I use them every time ratchet straps come out of the storage box.

My truck is all black except for the wheels. Wish they had ones without the stainless trim.

I called them and asked about shipping times they said if you have prime buy from their store it will be quicker. I mentioned prime was more than their website, they instantly said we will credit you back the difference and asked for the order number. Good customer service, then it gets better. I said I wish you had black tie downs, they said they will have black chrome tie downs in about a month. I said I need them now, they said no problem, go ahead and install the chromes and we will work something out when the new ones are released. Wow, customer service!

I had to make a cardboard shim to keep the router level as I did not want to have to remove tonneu cover rails to do the router cutting. They fit like a glove. I will swap out for the black chrome ones once they are available. Really good product, best fitting aftermarket I think I have ever installed. (22 years at GM I installed a lot of junk accessories that didn’t fit worth a darn)

So, the ones you linked here...

... are these pictured, and all your posts on this thread are about these? You're happy with the rings (except you'll swap to black) and the customer service?
If this is correct, it's a great review and I'll get the same! Thanks for letting us know what you got and that you're so impressed. We all benefit when members post detailed product reviews.

(I also prefer black, so I'll be lurking, waiting....) :spy:

Yes sorry, I bought the Bull Ring tie downs.

I called yesterday to see if they had the black ones yet and they said the Black chrome was supposed to be out soon but they are delayed. If I call in (Second time they told me this on 2 different calls, my original one and this one) that they would exchange them regardless of the fact that they have been installed.
