Ever since I caught some rebar in the grill surround I've been looking at a 2017 TRD Pro grill setup. Since I have TSS, I needed a bracket. Someone on Facebook posted a free 3D printer file to mount the sensor at the same angle and height and has been using it for quite a while. I found the page and paid someone to make it for me. It should ship out next week. I'll update once I get parts in hand.

Subscribed! I want to do this but don’t want to effect warranty.

I've seen this and it might look like it works ok but theres no height adjustment and the depth is wrong. It keeps the radar to far back from the front of the grille and vehicle to work properly. Not sure what you paid for it. I do remember you inquiring about one of my brackets but the best of luck.

That was my hang up as well. No way around it, change the way the system came from the factory, no warranty. Keep your stock parts.

I did inquire about your setup, and if this setup doesn't work then there is another venue for me to pursue. I have access to all sorts on machines at work (lathe, mill, waterjet) so I'm sure I can do it myself if need be. I believe this guy is an engineer and knows how our systems work. Plus he's been using it for a while, as have others. If it does work, this is a viable option for those who have access to 3D printers.

It has worked for me for the last ~2000 miles on my truck without a hiccup, and PCS has actually saved me from getting in a bad accident in this time. There is no height adjustment because there is no need for it. I have a stock truck and it is the correct height for that application, not to say that it wouldn't work with a lifted truck if the stock rake is maintained. My issue with the other options out there is that the azimuth is not controlled fully by design and that has the biggest impact on the functionality of the sensor. If the sensor is off by 1 degree that translates to several feet at the outer reaches of the sensing range, and that is why I chose design it without any way to accidentally change the angle.

This is my solution and I only intended to use it on my truck. I gave the models for the 3D printers away for free because I wanted to help people who have the means to build it themselves. It costs about $5 to print this mount in ABS with the settings outlined on Thingeverse. That being said if someone doesn't have a 3D printer they can use a service like 3D hubs and that would cost around $25. I am not looking to make any money off this as I don't have time to spare time or ambition to make a business out of this.

Yep graduated with my Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2018 and worked for one of the Big 3 since, and that is exactly why I put this out there. If someone has the means they can very quickly and cheaply build themselves a very robust solution.
