Installed LED puddle lights, and LED footwell lighting. Just bought some 6112s and 5100s, but waiting for cooler weather to install. But I did install a DAP tune today. Haven't gone out to drive it yet. And it's still got a 1/3 tank of 87 octane in it. Dirty Deeds exhaust will be next.

It's a ARE CX series with walk in door option. I ordered it through my local ARE dealer.

Does it sit flush with the roof or is it raised a little?

Sits flush. The MX series is the taller one.

Started my battle against surface rust today. Trying to get this thing ready for Wisconsin winter aka salt season. Will take pictures of what I painted tomorrow.

I know the struggle. I was born and raised near Milwaukee. Living in Texas now, but I've got a Virginia truck with some surface cancer on the underside.

I painted it with a Rust-Oleum enamel I had, but people have said that fluid film works better.

Close to two years up here now(from Alabama). So far so good with my truck. Biggest rust spot seems to be the hitch. Nothing on the body yet, but I washed my truck every week in the winter. I’m down in fond du lac

Did you have a reverse camera to mess with? I'm curious where that would get moved to

I built shelves, for my radio gear, out of dead tree carcasses to go behind the rear seats in my double cab.
There are still a few pieces I'm waiting to come in before I can call this done. I also still need to move the other radio and all of the power distribution gear to the new shelves.
It's over 100 degrees though, and I'm done working out in the sun for today.

I got 2 of the 5 rust spots cut out and patched with 16 gauge and fiberglass filler on Saturday. Deleted that whistling honeycome gasket in the intake and bought someone's spare rubber floor mats out of a 1794 2015 CM.

I put the second Dead Tree Carcass in my double cab today. This one holds the voltage booster, and rig runner/fuse panel. The first one holds my Icom IC-7000 HF/VHF/UHF ham radio, automatic screwdriver controller, and will hold the splitter/combiner for my VHF and UHF antennas.

If I want to move this last radio to behind the passenger's side rear seat, I'm going to have to relocate the bottle jack, lug wrench, and cut the mounts out. I don't think I'm going to do that because I'm not sure where I would relocate them to. Either without relocating the FTM-400XDR, the majority of the box under the rear seat is now free to hold things like first aid kits again.

Head unit was already in place, but I added a photo for today's work anyway...
With the new speakers, it sounds an order of magnitude better. No amplifiers at this time, also no sub-woofers. That might change somewhere down the road. At the moment, I've got so many radios in the truck I'm not sure where I would put the sub.

    Stereo upgrades today:
    * Sony XAV-AX100 head unit
    * Memphis PRX3 (3.5" Co-Axial speakers) for the dash corners
    * Memphis 15-SRX60C (6.5" Component speakers) Front Doors.
    * Memphis PRX50C (5.5" Component speakers) Rear Doors.

I removed the fender flares off my truck to assess the rust damage and see how it looks. Rust repair to follow.
