Took a little spin through the Sierras and came across a bit of a speed bump. I stood next to that thing and, I'm 5'11" and the top of it is even with the top of my shoulder. I'm just glad I wasn't around when that fucker decided to drop off of the mountain!

Changed the oil for the first time since I have had the truck. (Bought it in Nov. used with 16,500.) Not a hard DYI. Took my time and made sure I was doing everything correctly with the oil canister. That skid plate is a little tricky especially working in the supine position. I used Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter. The salesperson at the Advanced Auto recommends a new filter at 5,000. Complete oil change at the 10,000 mark. She also got a bath and vacuum. Already for the week.

You didn't throw a strap around it and pull it out of the way? Tundra would've done it.

I actually considered throwing a chain around it, but since it was on a slope I decided it was too dicey to mess with. As my dog and I were the only ones around, if things had gone hinky there'd have been no one to tell the sheriff where to find my carcass. I had no doubt that the Tundra could've moved it!

    Looks great! ^^

Well took one big step today!!!
Got my rear 5100's installed today along with my CoachBuilder +2's. took me roughly three hours. Getting the old bushings out was a PITA!! But man what a difference in looks AND ride! Pics coming shortly.
Next is install the front 5100's and get some new tires...

Man, the front alone took me and my cousin 6 hours!! Two of those were trying to get the damn sway bar links to line up with their corresponding holes!! Got one in and decided to bring it in the next morning (needed the mount and balance for new tires and alignment anyways) talk about SKETCHY!! But....I didn't die!

Solid!! Can't wait to see the pics brother!

Great now I'm really excited for the front install haha going to wait a month or two until I get new KO2's so I can just do one alignment for the Bilstein's and tires.

    Pictures will be here soon.

Solid plan brother! No point in having to pony up an extra 100 for two alignments when you can get it done in one sweep! I have spacers not bilsteins, so it MIGHT be a different story for you LOL

I've got 2.25" spacers now and that certainly wasn't an easy job. One side took me several hours but the second side wasnt bad. With the 5100's, now I have to worry about compressing the spring and swapping shocks. Just that much harder...

Sounds like my experience!! Except for those sway bar links. I'm still pissed off about that! Hahaha
Ooh I HATED watching my buddies compressing springs when I worked at an auto shop. Kept thinking that spring was gonna end up in the side of their faces every time! Good luck, blessings, and all around whatever on you so that doesn't happen! LOL

I've only had them for a couple days but I LOVE them. MINIMAL noise, ride feels great, swallows bumps like they were tic tacs, gravel and slick grass are nothing to them, just an all around great tire and pics just don't do them justice.
I wanted to try the RT but honestly, I needed a tire that would last a long time and give me more bang for my buck right now (50.000-70,000 @ $1100 on the AT's vs 40,000-50,000 @ $1250 on the RT) I'm more than happy with my choice so far. I don't think you could go wrong with either from what I hear.
