I need seat covers BAD. I tote two dogs with me daily to work and O.M.G the hair on black seats! Anyone have suggestions on where to find good seat covers? Also that center console armrest. I have Boxers and after 10 years of them flying in the front seat and scrambling to the back they finally managed to poke holes in the center console lid of my '08. I DON'T want that to happen in this one but I am forever cleaning up dog hair in that little dip in the center already! Are there any covers or replacement covers for this with a different design?

I’ve heard great things about Katzkin seat covers. I don’t have any first hand experience though.

I second Katzkin covers. As far as the armrest, someone with knowledge will chime in....

I would solve the problem and be safer in the process since I'm pretty sure your dogs are not in harnesses and strapped in.

Softoppers are where it's at. Dogs love them, these are safe, easy to harness a dog and still let them have a wind in the face experience.

Katzkin aren't really covers. They are leather that replaces your stock cloth. If you want covers that go over your stock interior look into Clazzio seat covers. I had them in my Tacoma and liked them alot. You can also get them in durable vinyl that looks like leather, and they do make armrest covers

Ah that's what I need is armrest covers. Thanks! I couldn't put my boxers in the back of the truck in this Texas heat. They think they're human and fight over who rides shotgun! :D

Good point. Wasn't sure where you resided. It can get stupid hot there.

I usually just lift the back seats and let them have full range of the back. Mine usually sit one per window. Hard to get the pic because once out of the truck they both go to the side I am on. I then cover the back seats with a sheet to protect from hair. Husky sheds like no other. No sheet in this picture, this was before I realized home much the hair stuck to the underside of the seats. Clazzio is good for covers, and also check out Coverking - they have many different options and fabric/leather types, some specifically aimed at pet protection.

I've thought about lifting the back seat up, but he's an old man and all about the comfort. The back seat is the ONE thing I've found I dislike about the 18's. My '08 the seats could be moved forward/backward and tilted up or back. Made it a lot easier to store camping/fishing stuff. Not a lot of storage room UNDER the back seats in the 18.

    HAHAHAHA!!!

I'm in the same boat, with my three Dalmatians. I've always had a topper on my Toyota trucks, '93 P/U and '11 Tacoma, but haven't pulled that trigger yet, preferring to try a BakFlip tonneau cover, and having them ride in the cab, once... Even with a cover over the seat, the hair was everywhere, and it was a crapshow getting them out of the truck, and back in. I'm trying to determine whether I want to add a hard shell and sell the BakFlip, which would probably be a net cost of $1500, or invest in Katzskin ($1000?), and still be dicking around with the dogs in the truck. I kinda like the looks of the Tundra w/o a shell, but the dogs also like going to the dog park. Decisions, decisions...

Marathon Seat covers and a dog sling. Keep them out of the front seat altogether. This is the third truck I have set up this way with about 150,000 miles of dogs in the back seat.

It's a DIY sling. 6' x 8' tarp, a few grommets, a couple pieces of line, wire ties and about 5' of pvc conduit. I took a few pictures the last time I made one I can share if you like.
