Mine is doing the same thing. Lots of change, and some heavier hand tools/knives

Ceramic tint the 2 fronts. Thinking of doing ceramic clear tint for the entire front windshield. Blocks uv & keeps the truck supposedly 40% cooler

    Materials:
2 winco 1/2 size 4in deep food tray
1 winco 2/3 size 4in deep food tray
    Sheet 1/2 in plywood
    Black felt
    Wood glue
    Spray glue

    Tools:
    Circular saw
    Jig saw
    Staple gun
    Clamps

The plywood is wrapped in Black felt used spray glue and a staple gun to attach it. Thinking about putting bed liner on the trays not sure yet.

No template I just used measurements and drew it up on the board before making cuts. The board is 16in wide and 4ft long. I used card stock to trace out the seat mounts and then traced them onto the board. Three of the mounts are 3in wide and one is 4in wide so gotta do them individually. Once you get one board that fits and all cut out then you can use that and a yellow or white crayon to draw out your holes you need to cut into your carpet. I placed that carpet at the bottom of the holes to makes sure there wouldn’t be any rattling. also use that first board to cut your layered boards. I wood glued the three boreds together and put them against the grain of each other just for more rigidity.

Where the seat mounts are, there are metal beams there so the trays have to go in between the seat mounts.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

That will probably have to wait one more day - I’m dealing with my dog at the vet for a possible broken arm. :/
...guess the new shocks and wheels are gonna have to wait a bit longer.

I did 50% ceramic entire windshield and 20% on the sunroof. Made a huge difference in temp and barely noticeable on the windshield.

Wonder if it's a heat over time thing? I haven't had mine that long so a hot truck hasn't had time to weaken the plastic.

Must be. Doesn't bother me cause I lift it out to get to bigger items underneath it instead of sliding it back.

I'm not a Confederate flag type of guy, but I did see someone tint their sunroof with the design and it looked badass. Just an idea but if you tint it with an American flag or a design you like it will look badass.

Hey Ron do you have any pics showing the difference between both the regular tint and the ceramic?

Reason I ask is despite me matching my 2 fronts to the rear going a shade darker in the front to accommodate for the light from sun going in front windshield it still gets very hot in my truck very quick. If I could cool it down without sacrificing my visibility out the front windshield it's something I'd consider doing myself.

Looks great from here. So besides it being lighter on the windshield over the other windows, do u feel that the difference between ceramic and regular tint still looks good together on the same truck? If I'm reading correctly, that's what you have, regular on sides and rear, ceramic on front?

Follow up. Finally got my truck back from the auto body shop. They did a great job on the dent but royally jacked up the repaint. Luckily they guarantee their work and said my truck shouldn't have been given back to me in that half-ass condition. Took an additional three days to repaint the cab and replace the roof molding. Total time in shop was 17 days.

The same goes for a lot of firearms people have... hopefully the wifey doesn't sell for what they've been told it cost.

I thought this was pretty damn funny when I saw it. I at least thought so, and can relate.

About to purchase the rear TRD sway bar. Local dealership said $259 for the sway bar and $98 for the mounting hardware. Is that around the price you guys have gotten? From searching I've seen between $215-$325 for the sway bar. I have $125 to use up bu the end of September on my toyoTo care card.

I think I paid around 190 for mine on Ebay during a good coupon week. They run around 215 I believe. You should not need additional mounting hardware other than what comes with the sway har. Not sure what you're getting for the additional $98 ?

The pieces look great. I agree it's kinda busy. I'd ditch the steering wheel cover and/or the tuffskinz, maybe keep the cup holder ones? I think the red is overwhelming. Maybe trade for someone's all black? Not trying to be offensive, just offer my opinion. But then again we all have different taste. The hydrodip is bad ass though and such a great idea.
