So... I am a Halloween fanatic. I lived in an area that I only had 2 trick or treaters in 5 years. Then I moved! In the last 2 years I had 90, then 125 kids. Last year I went big and build a 40ft maze in my drive way.

With that being said, I need to out do myself. And the theme this year will be dolls. So the only reason why I am posting on here is because you all are very generous and thoughtful! Lol

I need dolls. I've been collecting from Goodwill and thrift stores, but it's slim pickings and you know our gas mileage driving all over the place. Lol.

Anyhow, you all have kids or had some and want to get rid of the old shit they don't use. I'm your girl! I need a few like Barbie sized not tooaby, mostly like cabbage patch sized. Don't care what condition they are in or if they have clothes on. Let me know if I can come grab some from you.

PS you will not get them back. They will be slightly modified for the season.

Here I added some more to the pix...

I don’t have dolls since I don’t have children. But I’ll keep an eye out and send em your way

Can't help with acquiring dolls, but an idea if you need another. My SIL took a bunch of barbie doll heads and made a wreath. Decapitated barbie awesomeness.

    Awesome, man.

I remember when I was a kid, people had set up their own haunted houses/mazes in the neighborhood. I slowly watched the spirit of Halloween die and after living in many different cities, I’ve yet to see it thrive.

I used to enjoy it when my boys were younger, then they got too old. Now I'm old and dont want anyone ringing my damn doorbell.
We do go to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo to see the Halloween displays and the kids having fun all dressed up.
    I am digging the dolls!

Love Halloween. I get something new to add each year but it really just looks about the same. Need something bigger this year.

I remember being a kid and being scared every year on Halloween... Honestly it's a great memory and I want kids to have those memories as well. It fun, it's something for them to talk about, and it's free, safe fun. So why not!?

I pondered the horse last year, maybe not that scary but badass. Really any life size skeleton in the front yard is kind of scary.

This is just a glimpse of what is here. The dragon can be hooked up to a fog machine to blow smoke out of the mouth too... Used your advice and just purchased the 80" dragon, 48" dragon, saber tooth tiger, medium spider and large spider skeleton and large spider web.

(yes i know spiders don't actually have a skeleton)

you sound like the neighbors down the street. there's 4 houses on the corners of the intersection a few blocks down. every year, they try to out do each other. they started setting up over the weekend. yes, they've already got halloween in the yard. but, on halloween, the city blocks off the streets and the whole neighborhood is pretty much off the hook. we've even got a haunted castle.

come on down. the owners of the castle change their theme ever year. last year, it was crashed UFOs. year before that they had built a massive pirate ship in the yard. they go all out and open the grounds to the public. it's been fun to watch the restoration. such a cool property.
