I'll know for sure on Friday. No sense getting my nose out of joint for something that doesn't end up preventing me from going. How long did you say it'd take to complete?

Last time I went it took 45 minutes to go from the start to the heli pad (beer hangout spot) and that was driving slow with a tacoma newbie. That distance can be done in 20 driving quick (proven by two friends) I'd say 30 though haha.

So really you could skip airing down (unless you have a compressor), drive with us out to the heli pad, and then turn around from there and go back under 2 hours. The last part of the trail doesn't take long, it's pretty smooth, but either way it's an out and back trail. It doesn't go through.

Really? Well in that case, see you at 9:00 for sure. Helipad and back is enough for me! (...plus a breakfast beer of course.)

All my socal ppl i need your help. What are good places to go shooting at thats BLM land. I know bee canyon shooting is allowed but just didnt look to convinsing to me lol. I prefer open land that we can get away from ppl. Of course im in riverside so.maybe 1 hour drive any direction would work.

There's BLM land you can shoot neat JT and out in Anza. Idk how far that would be for you @fisherman951

If I get a chance I'll try to look up the map, but you can find a map showing all the BLM land you're allowed to shoot at. I don't remember how I googled and found it lol but it's out there!

    More to Come ...

Hodge road going out to Vegas just past Victorville is still open but gets crazy on the weekends.

Steel mountain in Perris closed down because of all the trash and A holes. I am sure Bee Canyon will be next.

I get a bit nervous shooting around new people. A couple of douches in a Dodge Ram ruined it getting wasted in the morning and then having horrendous trigger control mid day when they shouldn't have been near a gun to begin with. Needless to say I bailed on shooting then and kept on wheeling instead haha.

They were with our group as a friend of one of the tacoma guys.

But I do like shooting, so this does need to be planned!
