Yeah I have 4 shops near me too. But there is so much good stuff that you can only get online it seems, so it is nice to have some special cigars.

Thought I would show off my new V-cutter from Xikar. I've been using this for a few days now and it cuts great, nice deep and wide v-cuts. The finish is beautiful but it seems it is easy to scratch. I have been careful with it but I scratched it somehow. For $45 not bad though.

Also I am smoking the All My Exes maduro in toro.
First third so far lots of smoothe creamy smoke, chocolate, leather, and pepper on the finish.

p.s. One of these cigars had a beetle hole upon arrival:(. However they shipped fast, responded to my email complaint fast, and they are sending me a replacement and an extra cigar. I hope it is something different just so i can try another cigar! Phenomenal customer service from Ezra Zion, a rare thing to actually have these days.

What is the shelf life of cigars kept in a humidor?

I just bought three Rocky Patel cigars: Vintage 1999, Sun Grown, and Decade.

I plan on smoking them over the next few weeks while on a fishing trip.

You can get years out of cigars in a well kept humidor. I know the little travel cases with a bovida pack can last a couple months as well.

Yeah if anyone is looking for some Cuban 5 packs (or larger) let me know. I'm finally starting to narrow down what I enjoy and I need to clear out some room. I'd be down to trade for specific cigars too (RyJ, Sancho Panza, Bolivar, certain Montes and HdMs). Just shoot me a PM.

That will probably be my next cutter. I am partial to the v-cutters though. The just have better mouthfeel.0NGaUG6.jpg

Just picked this up, Cedrus it is new from Southern Draw. So far lots of pepper.20180914_192151.jpg

Really oily, extra spicy in the beginning, then strong cedar flavor. This cigar did not disappoint.

I went back to get another one and luckily got the last one. They went fast, 2 days. If you see them in your local shop get one or two.

Drew Estate Undercrown tonight. Wonderful fall evening so I lit one up. Strong cigar with an amazing easy draw and a perfect burn. Very high quality.

Pleasantly surprised, pretty mild, pulls just right and long burning. I will be getting more of these.

Should be available through the holidays. Try the 888 version if you enjoy bourbon or scotch. It is a thinner lancero size which when paired with a good drink (non mixed) enhances the palette for both.

I haven't checked in for a while but I'm all caught up and see some awesome cigars have been had. My in-laws who live in the Dominican republic half the year just came back and brought me 30 Maduros made by a neighbor of theirs. I've had his cigars before and they don't disappoint. I'm going to give them a few days and report back.

Anyone ever smoke a Man of War? How are they?

I see the reviews, for some reason I trust you malcontents and deviants more than generic reviews. I picked one up, and kind of want to know what to expect.

    Where's the Cognac dispenser?

I would at least like to have one that I don't have to watch often and keep 'em humid in dry CO.
