How difficult was removing/installing the center trim. I would like to eliminate all of the silver coated parts at some point.

It wasn't all that difficult. Just take your time removing all the panels that have to come off to get to it. I think start to finish it took me about 45 minutes or so.

I had really bad streaking over the top of coatings. I also bought the Hydro2 Lite, which is prediluted. Maybe that was the problem.

Of course I didn’t apply in the sun or with a hot surface...give me some credit :)

Yep, the center piece came with the two vents, and I picked up 2 more from @Roman to complete the swap. Didn't want to mess with vinyl or paint....

Thanks! The insert around the shifter was by far the hardest part. The rest was surprisingly easy.

My guess is the mixture was too strong, or was left on too long before spraying off and drying. I have not tried the hydro2 lite, I mix my own cuz its much cheaper and I can change around the strength.

@Pudge funny enough, I'm scrolling through my FB feed 30 sec ago and one of the better detailing groups I'm in this discussion came up about the ratio. CarPro used to recommend 6:1 and that is what the lite is diluted to, but they have since revised their dilution recommendation to 10:1 and cited problems with streaking. I bet that's it...I'll work this weekend on figuring out how much water I need to add to my jug to get the dilution to 10:1 with how much product is currently in the bottle.

Hey, when you spray it off the panel, do you use a pressure washer or just a hose?

I tried 1:6 and wasn't a fan of how it took a lot of effort to remove hazing and streaks. Tried 1:10 and it was better but worried I was losing protection. Next try will be 1:8, if it doesnt haze or streak I'll stick with that. If it does I'll go back to 1:10

I haven't tried it with a power washer y dry, just hose with a strong stream

That’s clean man... I tried wrapping the cup holders and need to do them again because it is slightly bubbling in the corners of the depressed areas... any tricks to make it sit nicely?

Also any tips on the shifter bezel? Did you hand cut the inner line?

Busted the triple raptor ambers, slightly different than the DIY thread here, but stoked on how they turned out.
