    Hey guys, my plan for my 18 Tundra is the following, wanting to know if you guys think they'll fit;

    - 6112's in front at either 1.9 or 2.5
    - 5160's in rear
    - These rims;

    https://www.stealthcustomseries.com/products/sr8

    - 35-12.5-18 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (getting a hell of a deal on them)

    Do you guys think they'll fit with minor trimming? Thanks in advance. :oldglory:

    Totally agree with @TheBeast . SCS is a great wheel choice 'cause they're hub centric.

    Cab Mount Chop, no big deal, sounds a lot worse than it is. Relentless or Bamf sell the plates that get welded in.

    There are so many conflicting stories about whether 295/70/18 requires CMC on a +18. Some say yes, some say no; but the usual consensus is no CMC

    I didn’t need one with +12 offset wheels. The alignment numbers play a part in it as well, on stock arms with less than 3* of caster it doesn’t seem to needed.

    I needed one. Caster plays a part in this too. I needed the CMC with 2* of caster and 295s. I'm now at 4.5*caster with 35s and am rubbing the back of the fender occasionally.

    I know this is a huge debate as well, but any affect on the factory warranty?

    Any idea if it messed up your factory warranty by doing one?

    I don't honestly know. It really doesn't have any effect on the truck other than creating clearance. It's not very noticeable and most dealers won't even know it's been done. It's said that the dealer must prove the modification caused the problem in order to refuse a warranty claim. That said, I think it depends on the integrity of the dealer.

    I had a fabricator friend do mine. There's a 4x4 shop near me and I think they could've done it too but, I don't think I'd have someone like 4WP do it.

    for the cost of tires and rims, cmc is cheap insurance. get the bigger tires you want now so you don't spend twice when you want to go from 33's to 35's :) depending where you are located I'm sure you can find a good fab guy

    At the same time though, if 275/70/18 with 2 inches of lift is your thing, and you can reap the benefits of smaller tires (better MPG, less strain on bolts, brakes, functionality) then do it.

    275/70/18 is a sick combo, and with the right lift you'll appreciate the truck just as much.

    I'm leveled (pro suspension). Put Icon wheels on, which are +25 offset and fit 315/70-17s without a BMC. Just removed the plastic shit.
