I have recently lifted my 08 tundra and it is shaking horribly bad. My tires are now chopped and I am looking to getting new tires and alignment redone plus balanced. Any suggestions Be for I spend a to e of money would be helpful. TIA

Make sure that alignment is dialed in right so you don't waste more money on tires. Maybe go-to an off road shop or somewhere with experience.

    Good luck!

    Welcome from PA!

I had it aligned at a 4x4 shop locally just never took it to get it fine tuned.

    Thanks from TX.

Welcome Jeremiah. Sounds like a wheel out of round (just read about it in another thread) or a balance issue. I had wheels balanced recently. The day after I found the weights had fallen off and were sitting in the driveway.

I just brought my truck in for an oil change at a local dealership and they rotated the tires at the same time. Now my steering wheel also shakes back and forth rapidly and it's pulling to the right. It went in perfectly fine. Not sure I want to bring it back and waste another half day waiting. I might just bring it into les schwab so I don't waste another day for a balance and alignment.

Your tires are likely out of balance. Not as noticeable when they're in the back. I have the same slight vibration around 55, but hasn't been bad enough for me to take in and rebalanced.

I have been dealing with this for the past 8 months and it's driving me crazy, I've read one comment somewhere about the front driveshaft possibly losing it's balancing weight and I'm thinking about taking it completely out and driving it around to see.
