On Aug 2nd I upgraded from my 2017 MGM sr5 Trd to my new 18 White Platinum. I decided to see if the deals on the 18’s were as good as I was reading on here. Fortunately I was able to swap over my Husky liners, tonneau cover, trd shift knob, console/vault, and 8”bamuffler setup. Also, I pulled the Trd Pro grill & bulge from cool springs Toyota off and will put up for sale shortly. In addition to installing all the stuff from my old 17 to the 18, I got it Line-x’d last week and am getting the windows tinted tomorrow. The Platinum’s upgrades are really nice. The only thing I liked better on the 17 was the Trd 4600 bilsteins seemed to handle bumps in the road better.

The bumps and your 18s handling differences may be attributed to your rim increase from 18 to 20. Then again, perhaps not.
Your first color was faster (lol) even if it was a pita to keep clean.
