You need to flip the connectors. LEDs are sensitive to polarity and you just plugged it in the wrong way. Do one side at a time before you put everything back together to make sure they’re working properly.

Also check your TAIL and STOP fuses under your dash.

Can you take video of what you’re describing? Will your truck shift out of park?

I’d return them and just change in good LED bulbs with resistors. I like people behind me to notice and stay back.

There’s a few stories of these 3rd party LED arrays failing in one way or another. Only takes one side then you have a wonky set. It’s easier replacing bulbs. It’s your truck, if you really like the look, go for it, just not as reliable imho.

Another, Did you flip both the brake and turn signal connectors or did you just do the brake?

TRD rear sway bar, console organizer, stubby antenna, LEDs for cabin, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights, power-fold mirrors, Westin nerf bars, full stereo upgrade. Future - color-match grill surround/bulge, mirror caps, handles, plasti-dip badges.
Also check the BKUP LP fuse under the dash. I replaced my reverse bulbs with LEDs and it blew the fuse, caused the TSS and trailer break alarms on my '18.
