I had weathertechs in my previous truck. The back mats ended up folding up on the edges very badly. In some spots, it was over a 90° angle on the edges. The fronts were perfect and included little studs you screwed into the stock floorboards that secured the new mat. When I'm ready to buy mats for the Tundra, I will be looking hard at the husky brand first based on my previous experience.

Well, Shit. I goofed hard. I wanted the Husky brand. Oh well.

The Weathertechs are working fine for me. I can't complain.

I went with the husky’s after owning a set of weather tech on a different vehicle. I have the rear with the full coverage.

It will be fine. They are both good. I know people who prefer the Weathertechs.

They (the full coverage rears) have been around for years - at least since 2016. I bought mine in March of 2017 and had looked at them before then.

Kind of surprised how many here don't like WeatherTechs. I have them in my Impreza and had them in my 2015 Tacoma and loved them. The WeatherTechs in my Impreza are 5.5 years old now and I'm still very happy with them.

I have weather tech currently in my Tundra and my sons Tacoma. I also currently have a set of huskies in my old Chevy hunting truck. I see absolutely no difference in either brand, and I do not prefer one over the other. I would purchase my next set based on which one i could get cheaper.

Go with Husky over weather tech imo the quality is so much better. I had weathertech when I purchased my truck and wasn't satisfied made the switch to husky and the weathertech's have been in my shed ever since

Did you have both? Can you confirm that Husky has more coverage?

Between the Husky X-Act and the Husky Weatherbeater, which one has better coverage?

    Anyone ever try Michelin Edgeliner?

Saw the Michelin in a review video with WeatherTech and Husky. One thing that caught my eye about them was the deep grooves in the liner, intended so water and mud doesn't sit up on top exposed. I run into this problem in the car more than the truck with my WeatherTechs. I use my car purely for commuting to work. In the winter, snow melts off my shoes and the WT liner catches it great. Unfortunately, it also leaves a puddle on the mat, and the back of my pant leg (mostly just right side) will droop into that puddle and gets soaked. Leaves salt stains too since that puddle will sometimes have salt in it. This is less of a problem in the truck as I'm sitting much higher up on the floor. But still, seems like a smart idea.

Do the Toyota rubber floor mats suck? They are available on Spark parts at a reasonable price. If you get the full coverage Husky floor mats for the back, do you have to cut some areas to get them in?

I don't know, but if you decide you want Toyota rubber mats, mine are only a month old and I'll sell them cheap.

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
I have the weather techs in the back (and front) and they work great. Not sure what everyone is complaining about them not fitting. They are a harder plastic so you should install them on a hot day, leave them in the sun for an hour or so then put them in the hot truck and they will form fine.
I installed mine in winter and they took awhile to settle in, but after a couple weeks they formed fine.
