Ive seen a couple of post about upgrading stereo system which I plan to do after I get back from my TDY but I thought I would share what I found and see if anybody else has heard of them. They are called ********* and they only make products for Toyota. Anybody heard or used them? Attached a link below.

Ha @Sean266 I'm sure you could inquire about them.....they might charge a little extra for shipping and handling :bananadance:

I haven't read anything positive about them. The problem with the tundra radio is that it puts out a dirty signal. So if you use line converters of any kind and amplify the radio signal to the speakers, you will get a white noise. It's low, but it drove me bonkers. There was one guy on this forum that said his didn't have any problems, but later started asking about a static noise he was having. I think it was this forum. That said, since the new tundras have that nice display, I would do anything I could to keep from having to get an aftermarket stereo. If you try the recurve system from taco tunes, there may be a way to filter out any white noise, but you will probably have to get a professional help you with it.

I really wanted to keep my stock head unit, but in the end, I not only replaced the head unit and speakers, but all of the undersized stock wiring. It's to bad Toyota doesn't do a better job with the stereo.

Disappointing news, was really hoping to get away with just replacing speakers as well.
