Where did you install your air tank?

Thanks Mike, I thought I could fit the compressor in the engine compartment but it won't fit without blocking a box behind the air box. So I'll be putting that under the bed also. I'll get a picture of the install and post it. Thanks again, Fred.

If you do alot of offroading like water crossing or mudding anything like that don't place the pump under the truck if possible.

That's a good point, but I don't off road however I do live in Oregon City where it rains a lot. I was planning on installing the compressor with the filter at the bottom and not using it while driving on wet roads. I could also pipe the filter to a higher or to a better location. The instructions say to mount the filter below the compressor.

This is what I came up with. This is 1/16" thick stainless steel. More coming later.

Just a little update, I had some airlines melt on the right side from touching the Exhaust by the front wheel. I'm slowly getting around to rerouting them.

OK let's finish this. I redid the connections on the tank for better clearance and added a pressure relief valve.

Still can improve the wiring and I can also raise the tank up for better ground clearance. Other than the center console and the plastic trim around the radiator I didn't have to drill a single hole in the Red Freighter.

Got to leave room for parking brake adjustment.

Is this both front and rear? Or just rear airbag for towing/leveling? I see 2 switches on your gauge mount is why I'm asking

You should or must run separate air lines independent of each other. So when you go thru a curve and the outside airbag compresses and increases pressure it won't add pressure to the inside airbag and make your truck lean more.
