What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I've seen one also but it didn't fit quite right. I think it was a little short of complete coverage.

 

Led foot well lights during the day. I'll post some pics when it gets dark. Tappedbinto cargo switch so they turn on with unclock on remote, when door opens or when you turn cargo light switch on. They also dim out when you lock with the rest of the interior lights. Thank you @NewImprovedRon and @Pudge for your help!

 

Damn those came out great. I wish I had done white. I'll see if I can get used to the blue. Glad you got it all figured out!!

 

Thank you sir. I mounted the two under the seats on the cross bar of the seat so they fire towards the rear seat and I get as Mich light as possible..I had all blue interior lights and it looked sick but they weren't bright enough. I think if you have white map and done lights with the blue floor lights that will look nasty

 

@Richie D Same place I mounted mine for the back. They are pretty bright.
With and without other interior lights on

 

If I knew they were that bright I would have went with the blue! They look great!

 

The tray is even more awesome. Haha. I love it.

 

Should be able to twist it out from the back of the light like you would the head/tail light bulbs as I recall.

 

Reach up behind it and give it a twist then pull strait out. I kept mine in though.

Yay, screen change

 

Finally replaced chrome front bumper end caps. I'm not totally happy, because the color doesn't match 100% the truck. Ordered with Sparks Toyota. I ordered also TRD frill and bulge but the color is the same as the whole truck color. Not sure why the end caps are different. Maybe because I installed the grill in April and the caps were sitting in the garage?
Also the gap on the LH side seems to be a little bigger than on the RH side, but it is too humid and hot today in Miami and I'm just too lazy to fix it.

That's kind of a bummer. I probably wouldn't have noticed had you not said anything tho.

 

Added a Bakflip MX4 yesterday.

 

Trimmed and reinstalled the skid plate. Plus, a little more chrome delete. The only mod that was easier, was the TRD shifter.

 

Installed this little jewel this morning. Works like a charm!

Allaight!
- Have a USB drive and format to FAT32 (see attachment, Step 1 and 2)
- Create 2 folders as shown in Step 3, make sure to not do typos
- Copy images/fotos to the folder. JPG/JPEG are the only formats allowed
- Got to truck and insert USB into the USB port
-in the radio, go to settings and scroll to change the backgrounds in the options.

EDIT: Max 3 pics per folder and Max 5Megs size for each pic

 

What is it?

 

Fortin Evo-one remote start.

 

Killed it today, washed ol lady's Camry and my truck at same time.

That way I could spend some quality time with my side piece. My truck.

So did a full interior detail cleaning everything then aerospace 303, leather cleaner and invisiglass on inside.


Big tnx to all the detailers on this site, u know who u are, I've thanked u b4. I'm going to do everyone else a solid here and pass this along to u guys that I picked up from them. If you don't have this product you need to get it. It's really for tires but it's great on plastics and rubber trim pieces.


I didnt even have time to apply to my tires and figured it would be a bit of waste since much rain in forecast. So I took the time to apply to all my black plastic trim and rubber.

I started with the grill and front black plastic bumper. In between the black squares on grill they were fading to white. This brings the black back. Came out awesome.


Next I just worked my way around doing mirrors, door handles, window trim, bed trim, rear bumper, and repeat other side.

Driver door done, rear not.


Driver mirror, door handle and window trim done, passenger not to show difference. Pics don't do justice.


Here's half rear bumper done, I'm guessing u can tell which side I did. And no making fun of my football pajama pants. I was excited it wasnt raining when I got up and ran out to clean lol.



Heres half a handle to see what a big difference. Notice how faded the window trim is too.


Look at the difference on window trim.


All in all came out great. I'll do the tires and wheel wells next time I wash when rain not expected the day after. Wish I did take the time to complete the look. Oh well, next time I wash I'll do the tires and windshield cowl I forgot. This stuff on tires is just as great on the plastic and rubber trim.

 

I just assumed he was heavily polishing his knob after that job.

Lol whats up brotatochip, just got home from a beautiful week at point pleasant. I did almost give in to temptation and pull the trigger on a 2019 laramie with the black appearance package and tablet entertainment screen. Not gonna lie drove like a dream and had a lot of goodies. But came to my senses and will wait for the 2021 tundy to see whats new.
