    Applied smoked vinyl to the clear portion of the taillights. It's not really as dark as it appears in the photo but I am going to pick up some LED bulbs to compensate for the darker lenses nonetheless.

    It's all good buddy, I was just messing with you. I can also see why u might think that as well. I've seen the ones you speak of and that was my first thought as well when I blew by it and caught out corner of my eye. Besides myself, I have yet to meet anyone that is correct 100% of the time.

    Looks great. I've tried helping @Sas and @NoKenDo as much as I can but it's been over a year since I applied to tails and 3rd light. It was hard enough just to remember where I got the precut vinyl for the application. I had to look back into my build thread just to get the information that I got the vinyl precut material from TCT wraps. I think they're out of Vermont and I spoke with Anthony who's a great guy there to set me up with a couple little extra pieces to do the 3rd light. I'd give you guys the little extra pieces I had leftover to do the 3rd but I already sent them out to @BlueBottle a while back to help him out. I don't know if he used them or plans to but maybe with this little bit of info and a little networking you guys can help eachother out with tips on applying the vinyl. I've now done about as much as I could, to try and help all u guys out. Good luck everyone.

    Just tap off your cargo light wire. That way when u hit unlock on the doors it would light up your boards and rear cover. Which wire is that I don't know off hand, would have to look up schematic. Good luck.

    Most use the light for the cargo light. Not too bad to access it under the. Drivers side scuff plates front or rear.

    On my 16 it was a thin dark brown wire. @newandimprovedron reccomend using positap connectors and they work great. Grab the size for 20-22gauge wire.

    I've been looking for an in channel low profile as well and have struck out. Thinking about buying an in-channel that says for fixed window and seeing if it works. I'm in for more info of the one shown above as well
